im on two doeses a day. It is platelet thinners. Does you blood clot as it normally would since you were on them?

A reduced dosage would suggest that the higher does are too far

Also that stuff in my case is 1 year post op.

Thank you for your reply Blackknight57 no I am one since my heart attack taking Asprin as well no my blood takes longer to clot compared to before my cardiac event my cardiologist wrote in his report that it was to be reduced in dosage after a year .

I have to be very careful if using sharp knives etc as I bleed like a pig.

Hi. I was reduced from 90mg to 60mg after 1 year. I haven't noticed any difference being on the lower dose. Hope that helps.

Thank you for your reply Paula233 I just thought being on a lower dose your blood might clot a little faster than it did before.

Hi, Medically i have no idea. I can only say that I still bruise easily etc - I haven't noticed any change in how I feel or bruise, bleed etc since I dropped down in dosage.

Not what you're looking for?
