Entresto Baby Dose and dapagliflozin

Hi. I've had chemo induced HF for 14 yrs. I'm on a lot of furosemide daily and in an attempt to reduce this and its impact on potassium levels, I've been on the baby dose of Entresto and now my Consultant/Registrar team has factored in dapa with the goal of feeling better. Also reduced my Carvedilol to allow for higher bp...so Entresto might be increased. Hey ho. I do very well but just feeling very 'chemically' emotional. 🤣 And no better. I feel that regular low potassium makes me v achy and tearful. But they don't do a maintenance dose of K here. The mini Entresto dose is maintaining my heart the same from the echo though. Just saying hi and reaching into this support mechanism as I miss stability and wonder if I'll cycle again. Gratitude can exist alongside sadness on a daily basis I find. I don't carry a lot of fluid due to the huge furosemide that has crept up, walk our dog 10k steps daily, and eat 'from scratch' mainly veg, but sometimes it feels a lot. I had a lot of therapy on the nhs after cancer and have a lot of techniques to process all the fears and thoughts but when you know you are up to date on drugs and they are offering a defib pacemaker, I'm not silly. My big girl's pants are a bit patchy atm. Hello to all. I'm 53 and vglad to be alive just would like to be more alive. 😂X

Hi penoir, I don't have experience of HF or the medication you take, but just wanted to say hello and welcome to the forum 😊

You certainly sound as though you're doing your bit to keep yourself fit - I'm impressed by anyone who aims to complete 10,000 steps per day!

Thankyou so much. I find that structure helps. I'm lucky to have time and we have 2 dogs. One is a v scared and fear aggressive dawg so luckily he's a fulltime job and my hub walks our other one. He's very health focused which helps. My hub. Not the dogs. They are the opposite of health obsessed. 😂 x
