I had open hear surgery in 2017 aortic valve biological fitted. I was wondering how long this valve will last and generally how long do they last before a replacement.

I suppose it depends on what valve it is but I was told approximately 10 years

In 2017 I had a replacement bovine aortic valve and was told that it would last approximately 10 years.
