Does anyone on here take lecithin king lll which claims to help lower cholesterol? I take thyroxine and wondered if it's safe to take these

Firstly, I would suggest you check with your GP if these things interact negatively before continuing to use them both. I used to take Lecithin thinking it would help to lower my familial cholesterol, until I learnt that it increased my good cholesterol. Lecithin converts to choline and you can get plenty of this from egg yolks. I know initially we all went through a stage when if we had high cholesterol we gave up eggs but more recent studies suggest it is quite safe to to eat 3 or four per week (obviously not the Cadburys Creme eggs!) My friend takes Thyroxine and was advised not to eat soya protein which over the counter Lecithin contains. Personally I take Atorvastatin 40 to keep my cholesterol down and put slices of raw aubergine in my porridge. We are never always sure what over the counter health products actually contain, so I try to avoid them by relying on healthy eating and essential prescribed medications.

check with a pharmacist - they are the experts on medication and easier to access than doctors
