Bradycardia symptoms from stress/depression

Recently I had episodes of extreme tiredness and nausea with facial pallor. The lethargy was so bad I had to lie down on my bed. Unfortunately, I got no restorative sleep. At first, I thought it was an electrolyte imbalance again, but the hospital attributed my symptoms to chronic stress, anxiety and depression caused by home circumstances. Though my pulse is regular, it is slow i.e. under 60 BPM. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, how have they managed to avoid it? Changing my environment would be ideal, but that currently is not a feasible option. It is also difficult to get away from it for short spells to engage in a distracting activity. Thanks for any suggestions.
