Has anybody been diagnosed with either a Tortuous Aorta, or Kommerells Diverticulum? The last two exrays showed one and then the other, are they the same thing.? I was under a Vascular Surgeon with an Abdominal Aneurysm, but was discharged as it hadn’t grown in a year, so didn’t get to speak to him about the X-rays.

I can understand that hearing these two terms must be scary - I have no knowledge of these conditions but a quick look at available info indicates that they are both distortions of the aorta, which is enough to worry anyone

in your position i would ask my GP about this, and be slightly reassured by the fact that your discharge indicates that this does not need urgent attention - i really hope that someone else is able to give you further, reassuring information
