heart attack and ibs

Does anyone else on here have I B S and had a heart attack if so do the medications upset your stomach give you terrible pain and wind every time I have an attack sends attack through the roof. If so how do you deal with the pain as I keep thinking I am having another heart attack

I have had IBS for years. I had a HA 2 years ago, and yes some of the meds make IBS worse. (well for me anyway).

The cardiologist changed the meds, and it certainly helped.

For me recently, the worst med is anticoagulant. any of the "bans" (rivaroxaban, apixaban etc).

I was OK on 2.5mg of Rivaroxaban but the dose was increased to 20mg because of possible AF, and that was very bad on the digestion.

thanks for the reply most helpful trying to find out with aid of GP what upsetting me anxiety terrible going to councillor see if they can help 6 months waiting list for that
