can you have a good echo with a poor BNP

my echo was good nothing to worry about

My BNP is currently 485 it was 2350 in hospital in the summer between times it has been 180

i have googled myself made with trying to understand how they can be the two extremes

I have AF to consider

BNP levels can be affected by a wide range of factors including kidney function, stress and medication.

As a diagnostic tool they are used as part of a wider picture, in combination with other clinical signs.

You might find that more googling will give you articles which show that it is a complicated picture, and that you need to read much more widely to get an answer to your question. In the meantime I hope you also find more helpful information about managing you AF (Atrial Fibrillation?)

thank you I think going from 180 to 485 has got me down a bit

What with bring breathless and in Af for 3 days in a row sone days you get proper fed up with it all
