Need some advice please folks.

Morning all,

I'm just looking for some advice with regards to my journey so far which has been going on for over 3 years now. Basically i was diagnosed with the following which I know most people can have without any worries but I struggle sometimes with it.

Mild lvh.

Mild mitral valve regurgitation.

Slight leak on tricuspid & pulmonary valve.

Bradycardia/tachycardia

Anomalous origin of the left circumflex arising from the right coronary artery with a retro aortic course.

I've had many test done over the years which has highlighted the above mentioned findings to try and find out why I have palpatations/ ectopic beats, irregular heart rate and lightheaded episodes etc with my pulse being 38-42 at times.

I had a implant loop recorder (ilr) fitted back in September to try and get a clear picture of whats going on 24/7 and I also have a key fob activator which i press when I'm having these episodes which can be daily sometimes. Over the last 2 weeks I've had some bad days with my hr dropping to 38 then it shoots up to 80 then back down to 40 etc making me feel lightheaded and fatigued and I nearly fainted while at the checkout last wk but i somehow managed to stop myself from falling over.

I decided to call the pacing team on Tuesday to see if they had saw anything on their system only to be told all was ok. The nurse asked was I symptomatic which I was and explained my symptoms and she requested I do a manual download from the base unit for them to look at. Family members are telling me to contact my gp or cardiology team to highlight it and get things moving but I've had all the test done, been diagnosed with the mentioned symptoms been fitted with an ilr which is being monitored and awaiting results to see if I need a pacemaker so I've not been forgotten.

So why when my pulse is low in the mid 30s and checked with a pulse oximeter and old school method finger on wrist over 60 seconds to compare it, that the pacing team aren't seeing this? If I'm symptomatic surely something isn't right?

I don't want to bother anyone, I know I'm being watched and I actually go about my normal day when these episodes pass.

So should i sit and wait or press my gp for more test? And how long would it normally take for the pacing team to analyse the data to get some results back.

P.s I'm not on any meds and my blood pressure is currently ok. Also I called the bhf last week about my recent diagnosis of anomalous left circumflex for advice on what it was and she was very helpful in explaining it to me and was told to maybe press my gp or if possible go private to help move things on.

Regards

Taz.
