Hiya .

For the umpteen time

Had a heartbeat of 177- started for no reason

Had been walk with dog

Went to make cup of tea & went out breath then lightheaded next thing heart racing mega

177on oxymeter my bp monitor flashed same

For next 35-mins so decided Txt hubby and he took me A&E hour & half high

But Dr said people have for days .

maybe couple years ago I had but not so high had palpatations for couple weeks non stop

Within 15mins. Nurse repeated checks 176 so took me in resuscitate. Monitors bloods tested me with a syringe blowing in

Bloods were back in 15 mins

But because asthmatic didn’t have 1 injection works quicker-had magnesium .

few hours hooked up

SVT he said need ablation cardio app follow

Had Echogram last week . 72 hour monitor

Another 7 day monitor next week

He said we’ve got caught it now

After few years back & fro

Still scared though ablation

My Auntie has svt had from age 40 odd

Dad had problems - then cardiac arrest at 73 🥲

But ! I’ve had these symptoms before out walking. The dog on my own . Out in middle nowhere

Any problems go straight bk

NHS are Amazing

Even though corridors were packed

They were on the ball .

Just wonders how others get on with same condition ( have few other probs )

hi, I also have SVT with rates of up to 250bpm. I then had an echo will showed some other issues so I’d push for one if you haven’t had one already. I decided against the ablation and to treat medically, but it all depends how frequently you have the episodes. All the best

thanks for reply last one where it was on going few hours was last feb . But have bits in between .waking up pulse high . Then drops . Early hours morn . Loads . Buy my bloods b12 & folate low so off at in the morning see what she says . regards Bev 😊

Yeah low b12 can make you feel really rough I'm on some tablets for 3 months because mine is low supposed to be 197 mine is 183 just a little bit under is enough to make you feel so terrible. Hope you get on at doctors 😉
