It was over two years ago I had two stents. I am now on meds and my heart specialist believes that meds will control any heart issues. I have noticed that recently my breathing has become a little breathless. Is this an issue?

shortness of breath
Hello and welcome to the forum!
Some meds can cause a degree of breathlessness in some but not all individuals. As you have CAD (coronary arterial disease), or you would not have needed stents, it could be a srent blocking or another area needing a srent. You need to contact your GP or cardiologist. Good luck!
Dear Denva
A warm welcome to you from our frozen land.
Like all these things, you have to begin asking your self, "is this normal for me?" I am guessing by your post that its not and its enough for you to worry.
Certainly there are a lot of medication that can give the symptoms that you are describing but unfortunately there are also some physical problems as well so it is always best to get it checked out, if nothing but for your peace of mind.
Good luck with your journey, I hope that it all settles down for you.
Take care
I literally had an appointment with my cardiologist yesterday about shortness of breathe and I'm glad I went they want to do MRI, another holter monitor and stress test in the next 6 months so definitely worth talking to your cardiologist about 😉
