anterior myocardial infarction

my husband had a heart attack March 2022 he had a total chronic occlusion of the lad artery, left ventricular systolic dysfunction, atrial fibrillation and hypertension. The mri showed the territory supplied by the lad was non viable so there was no benefit to opening it. He then had another heart attack in July so they decided to open it to stop any further events. Not quite sure how he had another heart attack in the same area if it was all non viable?

my husband my is coping quite well with it all and the medication etc but I really struggle thinking something is going to happen due to the extensive damage to the anterior of his heart. I’m thinking of it constantly and not sleeping with worry.. he’s also now got severe sleep apnea where he is stopping breathing over 30 times an hour so I am in pins with that too!

Just wondering if anybody is in similar position and any encouragement you can give 😊

My husband had an LAD stemi in July 2020. He seems to have dealt with it far better then I. He has assured me if he thinks there is anything to worry about he will tell me. It is hard not to constantly be checking on him. Really hard. It does get a little easier with time. Take care
