Hello :-)

I have not got a pacemaker but had a triple Bypass

I found that my chest was so sore tender and quite painful at times for months

Even now 16 months on I can have days where it is tender

If you are concerned could you call the Rehab Nurses that he hopefully has or have a call from his Doctor to get peace of mind

Let us know how you get on :-) x

Its very early days & quite normal. I had a quadruple bypass in Feb last year and still get aches & pains! Hope your Uncle is more comfortable soon. Happy Christmas 🎅🙂

It is four and a half years since my bypass and my chest still aches at times. Apart from the healing process of the sternum which will take 13 weeks, the operation can cause stress and possibly damage to the chest muscles and nerves. I find massaging my chest helps. It should get better with time. 6 weeks is early in the recovery process.
