Just a little Advice please.

Hi I had what I thought was a bad case of indigestion in September. I was referred to Rapid pain clinic and my ecg came back abnormal. have ended up in A and E a couple of times since then with chest pain. The worse though is the arm pain on my upper arms on both sides and it has not gone away is this related? I had an angiogram on Monday and the consultant just said that there are blockages and wanted a heart scan next but Iam not sure why? He just upped Bisoprolol to 2.5 mg and said he was changing the Gtn spray to tablets. I still can’t believe I thought it was just indigestion xx

Good morning, it's very scary to not know what is going on. I have a Heart Disorder, am pacemaker dependent and am waiting for a new heart. Bisoprolol are beatablockers so there is something wrong there I am sorry to say. Keep doing the tests the doctor is sending you to to find the route cause of the problem so a full solution can be found.

Keep strong, they will find the problem and resolve it......thoughts are with you

thank you for taking the time to reply I hope all goes well with you.

Dear Fourwhitesheps

Sorry to hear that you are still trying to find answers to your worries, judging by your other posts it has been going on for a while.

You have to remember that I am not medically trained and even if I was I could not answer your question on this site without more information.

And I think that this is one of your answers......more information and it appears that this is what your Dr has called for and very soon the ball will start rolling for you.

You will be incased in many tests that will give them more answers to both your and their worries.

I see that you are on drugs for what appears to be a thyroid problem, these you don't list in this forum.

Far be it for me to tell you but the drugs you are on for the thyroid are known to have problems with the body, indigestion being a big one and heart palpitations , but Im sure you already have got that information from the thyroid thread that you have been posting on.

Wherever this is coming from you need answers and it looks to me that they will soon be on there way and hopefully you can get the help you need.

Reading between the lines your anxiety levels seem to be high, this also can manifest itself in both gut and heart symptoms , it maybe good to give your Dr a heads up on how you are feeling and coping with this.

Take care, my thoughts are with you.

Many thanks yes I have under active thyroid and levels have been up and down but the doctors always say they are in range. I am just in the unknown at the moment and hopefully will be sorted very soon. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
