anyone have experience with this? I’ve been taking it for 5 days now 120mg 24hr beads. Since starting it been having some chest pain headaches weird sinus stuff sore throat and even this like weird memory stuff like my short term memory is doing funky stuff and my resting heart rate seems to be higher than it was before the first two days I took it my heart rate kept really doing weird things felt like it kept speeding up and slowing down. My cardiologist said he highly doubts these are from the medicine and blamed it on my anxiety. How long did it take for you guys to notice a difference with it? Any weird side effects?

On the caveat that I'm not a doctor...They may well be side effects going by the quick Google search... but the higher heart rate is unusual for this type of medicine.

It's common to get side effects from new medication while the body adapts, it usually clears up after a few weeks.

Given the higher heart rate, is there a chance your body may be fighting an infection? Your symptoms sound a bit flu like. Keep a symptom diary, drink plenty of fluids, rest, and keep your doctor informed.

the higher heart rate was only really happening first two days of the med. but I tried explaining to the cardiologist how I felt on the med and he was like highly unlikely that the med is causing it I’m starting to have some major mood swings

Hi Adam, I've been on Diltiazm (200mg) for 2 years now and not had any probs other than I think its not working as well now. I think your symptoms sound.like anxiety and stress which, I believe, is one of the main contributing causes of my problem - vasopsatic angina .

There's lots of help out.there to help ypu cope with anxiety so give ot a go and see if things improve
