Jack had farmed his acreage in Florida for well over 50 years. Now as he was approaching 80 and it was just himself since Mavis has passed a few years previously he rented most of the land to his neighbour. His neighbours ons helping these days with the milking and other arduous tasks. Part of his remaining land consisted of a large natural pond next to a fruit orchard. One evening in late summer he decided to go for a walk to pick some fruit. Gathering up a 5-gallon bucket and calling over his dog Elvis he walked past the ramshackle barn and the old F100 truck he was going to get around to one day. Nearing the pond he heard shrieking and giggling, and saw some young girls were skinny-dipping. He made himself known and they all went into the deep water. One of them shouted "We're not coming out until you are gone"! Jack replied "Don't worry I have not come to see young ladies in the nude and will be gone the moment I have fed the alligator. He gets real mean when he gets hungry."
The moral of the story is that old guys think fast!
