always ask a pharmacist! 👍

Dear Kateanddvinny

A warm welcome to the forum, I hope that it will bring you comfort and support as you travel your health journey.

You should never take any supplements without the say so of your Dr/Cardiologist and even your pharmacist can help you understand the interactions of drugs.

You don't say what your taking Kalms for and if you are having a problem with sleeping or anxiety then again the Dr is the best to confirm if they will be of any help to your conditions, remember that so called natural is not always best.

Take care and please keep us informed of your progress, AF is better understood now and hopefully they can get it sorted for you.

Hi Kate, there is a forum on Health Unlock just for people with AF, I've just read that you have that. They may be able to give you more advice if you put your post on that forum. Its:

I consulted a medical Herbalist for my insomnia, after trying every remedy to no avail. She understands interactions of drugs. She prescribed passion flower drops. Wonderful results. 8 hours sleep a night now.

That sounds amazing and I'll give it a try too. I think in my long and distant past I used to make a passion flower tea.

please double check with a pharmacist - they are the experts in how medications interact, side effects and all sorts of info doctors can't keep up with

also it's easier to pop in to a pharmacy than get an appointment with your GP
