anxiety and panic everyday since my heart attack

I started getting really bad palpitations and anxiety after my heart attack now 6

I thank on they have turned to anxiety and really bad pa I in the morning it’s worse has a yo e else suffered like this after a heart attack? I’m new here

Hello

It is very normal after such a life changing event it leaves us anxious

I had heart attacks and Bypass surgery over a year ago now and still get anxious I think our confidence takes such a battering it takes a while to regain it

Have you been offered Rehab at all if so do take the chance when they invite you along as that will be a huge help and if not enquire about it as you will meet people there as well as on here that feel just the way you do which helps knowing you are not alone

If you really start to struggle ask your Doctor for some support or give the BHF Nurses a ring they are very understanding and reassuring to x
