The BHF website has a lot of information about the various tests. Here is a starting point:
Michael has already suggested the BHF info, it's very helpful
but it might also help to know that:
a stress test is usually an echocardiogram with ECG done while you are doing exercise or with an injection which makes your heart think you are exercising - most NHS hospital have patient info sheets which explain it
nuclear testing is explained in the Radionucleotide Tests section of the BHF info

Hello
I had a stress echocardiogram a few weeks ago.
I had to walk on a treadmill which was slowly increased in speed and incline.
I had an ultrasound echocardiogram on my heart before exercising and then afterwards.
I had an ECG done throughout along with BP checks.
