hi

I have AF and next week I have CV booked my EF is 50 I just wanted to ask if anyone has had a improved EF after CV or seen no improvement. I know 50 is low normal but it is as low as I want to go really

I am on Amiodarine and Bisoprolol at the moment and it’s improved my breathing as I was having serious episodes of like suffocating amd ended up with two 5 day stays in hospital this summer I have mild MR but other than that not to bad

Hi I've had 2 cardiversions and to be honest not seen an improvement in EF yet. I'm currently 35 -40 but feel great working full time lots of walking etc. Sometimes I think we set too much store by EF numbers.

Hi I was in continuous AFIB for 3 months after my HA. they waited a while after my CV to repeat my echo to allow things to improve without the burden of AF on my heart. They said the AFib would slow down the recovery. My EF went from 40% to 45%, but then I’m also on all the heart attack medications as well.
