Atrial fibrillation triggered or made worse by angiogram?

Thanks to all those who responded to my earlier post on angiograms. I wanted to ask whether anyone who has had an angiogram found that it triggered atrial fibrillation or another arrhythmia. If so, did you have to be cardioverted, or did everything settle down if it’s own accord? Has anyone who has paroxysmal atrial fibrillation found that it became worse or even permanent following the procedure?’

I'm sorry Samazeuih, but I don't know the answer to this one. I'm sure one of our other members with more experience and knowledge of this problem will be along soon with a better answer than mine. Carol
