Angina Diagnosis, hospital diagnosis

Hi,

My husband has seen his dr, been given blood tests and has suspected angina. His first appointment was about two weeks ago.

He’s been off work since he’s 65.

He was referred urgently to hospital by the dr and the appointment letter has come through but it’s towards the end of August with a chest pain team but its not a face to face its a video consultation ! Surely he should be seen in person at the hospital not by video what’s the point and surely quicker than this?! Or is this normal?!

Having raised concerns with our dr she has prescribed him aspirin and beta blockers in the meantime and she says since Covid this is the quickest he can be seen?!
