Anyone reversed an enlarged (dilated) heart?

If you google this as i did you will get lots of info. My own heart may have reduced in size due to the hospital sorting out my heart and general health when i had been neglected by my GP.

it can depending on what type of HF you have, in my case (DCM) yes it can happen and did with me but i also have taken part in a study to try and find out why it did. so its still very new in regards to his life and research

Warm hello to you, I think that enlarged heart refers to a few conditions, mine is were the heart is misshapen by it not beating in a correct rhythm for a long time.

In my case then they say I have a good chance, with the CRT-D fitted that it will allow my heart to rest and repair to a fashion.

Hi thereI have an enlarged heart and reduced Ejection Fraction due to nearly 2 decades of AF.I'm told this can improve if successful treatment for AF but haven't got there yet. 2 failed ablations. Possibly a third on the horizon.

I've read a few of your posts but can you say a bit more about your situation and context to your question?

Yes. Fairly quickly with meds. Then meds and a pacemaker improved my EF from 20% to 60%. So it is possible in some cases.
