Mitral Valve Repair (Minimally Invasive) 2020 - Just Tested Positive for Covid 19 (UK)

Hi all - having just finished our Jubilee celebration arrangements for today, easpecially because of the lovely weather, I woke up this morning with a very thick head, feeling clammy and coughing quite badly with a temp of 37.7. Yep, I tested Positive for the very first time.

I have had my required 3 x vaccinations (I wasn't on any list for the fourth) and feel that I will get by. Doctors' surgery is closed for Bank Holidays and 111 really would be extremely slow this morning. So I thought I'd come on here and ask other Mitral Valve Repairees if they've had Covid - if so should I be at any more risk than people either not having heart issues and/or having had Open-Heart surgery, which I managed to avoid.

Goodness, I really thought I was going to escape infection :-(

Thanks - Paul
