Were you given any information on what to expect in the weeks following the ablation? If not then look on the Atrial Fibrillation Association website (AFA) where you will be able to find a pamphlet written by patients who have had an ablation in conjunction with Specialists on what to expect after the procedure. If this doesn’t answer your questions then please call your consultants secretary or the cardiac or arrhythmia nurses if you have one and ask them.
All the best
