Yes - there is a Govt list of insurers who specialise in high risk cases. Using this I actually got insured, which was an achievement in itself!

i had to do a search around the other day. Post Office offered the best product, 2nd cheapest too. surprisingly meerkat found me the cheapest. I spent hours hunting!

Hi there. I also have heart failure and I have very recently used ‘Medical Travel Compared.co.uk. I have found this to be a better comparison website than the ‘usual’ ones and it is specifically designed for people travelling with medical issues.Through this comparison site, I then chose ‘Insure & Escape’ as my preferred insurer.

This comparison site is also often recommended by the tv personality, Dr Sarah Jarvis.
