Does anyone know the mechanism of what I think I've seen referred to as 'Heart Drop'.
It's difficult to explain, but that feeling we get in our chest / stomach when we are suddenly shocked or worried? an example might be something like seeing a dog nearly get run over or something along those lines, I've started to notice I get that feeling a lot now even over trivial matters but they do seem to stem from an emotional response? I'm wondering if it's caused by or causing some sort of heart or vascular damage.
Hope this makes sense,
Thanks,
Michael

Evening , my teenage daughter was having chest pains, heart issues ( she likened them to the feeling you get going over the log flume ?!) , she had some test and monitoring with nothing then she was told it was stress and anxiety, I would recommend though seeing you gp.
Thanks for your reply. Yes that's a good description. Yes I think it's a stress / anxiety thing, what's strange for me is it happens even with the mildest thoughts which are not really concerns at all! I'll mention it to my doc, thanks, Michael
