Has anyone ever had any issues when flying? I had valve replacement surgery 10 years ago and have flown many times without issue but the last time was different. As the plane descended I got a tight chest, felt nauseous with shortness of breath. After we landed my chest felt bruised and heavy. That was two weeks ago and most symptoms have gone but I still feel uneasy. Does any of this sound familiar to any travellers out there? I’m due to fly again in a month’s time and I’m quite apprehensive …

I've had 5 stents. I flew long haul to Canada and had some discomfort on the way. I discussed this with the consultant and he advised it would have been down to the cabin pressure. I was fine but as it was fairly soon after the nerves were worse than the discomfort...
Glad it's helped... I think the mental health side of a heart attack and heart issues is seriously overlooked. It can be as debilitating as the heart problem. Itself... Anyway, best of luck with your hols.. Enjoy the sunshine! 👍😁
