I assume it is the 2.5mg Bisoprol, but just wondered if anyone had any tips in dealing with the dizziness and lightheadedness?
It took me over a year to wean myself of 1mg of Lorazapam, but then I recently took 3 tablets spread over a 2 week period, approx day1, day9, day12. The last one was like this, that night I slept like a baby, the second night same, the third day and night the demons are with me.
These benzos remind me alcoholism (from what I have heard), once addicted the brain remembers and you are hooked if you take a drink.

The dizziness is hard to control. I had it for a while on bisoprolol at first too. For me the answer was to embrace it and try to ignore it. When getting up, sit on the bed for 20 seconds and concentrate on being in control. I used to get dizzy on the floor while working out and tried mind over matter. It disappeared after a while but I do get the odd return. Hope this helps.
On Bisoprolol and no real problems, been taking Valium for over 40 years mainly as they were considered harmless back in the 70s. I used to take 40mg daily for anxiety and my GP happily dished them out at will. 30 years ago I reduced the dosage on my own bat having read some adverse reports on them. I am now taking 10mg daily and never notice any difference or effects with them. I did reduce to 5mg daily but after a few days my anxiety came back really bad (with palpitations) so I went back to the 10mg daily dose and all good since. My GP says stay on them as I have built up a tolerance by now. I am into my 70s now so really do not mind the 10mg and not going to torture myself with another taper off period.
