Beta blockers and sickness bug

My little boy has a sickness bug and I too am now sick and have diarrhoea. I haven't actually vomitted yet though. Just diarrhoea, terrible stomach pain, feel sick and the urge to be sick.

Is it ok to still take my bisoprolol?

My husband was very poorly with an infection over Christmas, he wasn't eating but was sick a few times & he still took his Bisoprolol. The only change to his meds as per his nurse was to reduce his furosemide and increase his fluid intake to stop him dehydrating due to excessive sweating due to the in for infection having a hold on his body. Probably a good idea to speak to 111 or pharmacist.

Sounds like the winter vomiting bug. Hope you all get better soon. Best to be diarrhoea. Should pass through. Drink fluids. Dont know about beta but I expect best too. I did read only yesterday when vomiting your heart rate drops. Best to call 111
