Hello Received the results today which are pretty good !
He was seen by one of my fellows with what sounds like angina. He has now had a Cardiac stress MRI which confirms that he has a dilated and impaired left ventricle. His ejection fraction is 39% The inferior wall was non-viable, and importantly there was no evidence of reversible ischaemia.
It is very possible his symptoms may be related to his LV impairment (breathless ). He is on optimal medical therapy for LVSD including a combination of beta-blockers and Entresto.
I would like to see this gentleman personally in my clinic and I will arrange a follow-up in the next two months.
So ejection fraction has gone down a little, I remember last one from an MRI was 43 % so 39% doesn't sound to bad after 2 years on Entresto.
Best Regards

Hello I was told on a stress MRI the EF is as accurate as it gets!! Same Machine, same Radiologist, same Time for both scans just a year or so apart LOL
I am relaxed about a 4% change albeit down a little.
Regards
Dear Prada47
Good news at your results and I am pleased that you are happy with them.
Now you have had that one year marker point done. How do you feel in yourself?
It took me a little while to appreciate how much better i was feeling , as for a while I used to wait for results to tell me.
Take care and I hope that you just get better and better
