Hi all,
I have been diagnosed with very high lipoprotein (a)...after my heart attack and triple heart bypass a year ago in my early 40s.
It doesn't make good reading but what can I do to naturally reduce lipoprotein (a)?...if anything...

Likewise, as well my brother has high levels. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to lower it, from what I read, but we can lower other risk factors.
I’ve done lots of reading on LPa since my diagnosis after bypass surgery. It’s about managing other factors- nothing you can do re LPa specifically. Joel Khan a US doc is 1 expert I follow - I ordered his book from Amazon US. The FH foundation also talk about LPa- so they are a good source for info & webinars etc. Lots of info online - good luck. I figure it took 51 years for it to really impact me- I’ll do what I can to get another 51 years!!
