Hello, I’m new looking for advice

My father requires aortic valve replacement at BARTS he was told in Sept/Oct time that it would be Jan/Feb for surgery but we’ve not heard anything? How quickly was your surgery conducted after going on the waiting list. I called pre-Christmas and was told due to covid rates rising all being delayed but my father is just getting worse weekly and it’s breaking my heart as I lost my mum two years ago and I’m terrified.
