In America a man has received a genetically modified pig's heart. This could be one of the biggest advances since Christian Bernard's first transplant all those years ago.

I know I have no problem with the ethics involved in using animals after all we eat them. Should I ever need a new heart I would have no problen being a voulnteer.

Awesome! We already use tissue valves so I see no problems. Obviously prevention is better than cure.
