Heart Failure Diagnosis

Hi

I am in the process of having tests and had an MRI. How quick was anyone given a diagnosis of heart failure after initialled with consultant?

I was in hospital when I had my tests and was told the day after I had my Echo and MRI.

I was initially told HF the day I was taken into hospital and had bloods, xray, ECG and CT scan. After seeing Consultant month later was given further diagnosis of Severe Dilated Cardiomyopathy. I think Heart Failure is an umbrella term for multiple heart conditions. After MRI.... Well you don't want to know.... 🤣
