"Strange question but I just wondered if I had worse to come (in the future)"
I'd make a couple of points to your question Heather.
Firstly, I'm not sure the angina experience of others is necessarily relevant to you. There's such a wide spectrum of how we experience pain, some people will hardly notice an ailment that might leave someone else doubled over.
Secondly, your question implies that your condition is destined to deteriorate in the future. I appreciate that you've already experienced failure of your bypass surgery, so that's certainly a possibility. But is it a necessary outcome, might not more life style changes or better medication mean you live out your life with no future angina pains? That would certainly be the option that I'd prefer to work towards!
I suppose what I was getting at was my level of pain was the same 4 years ago and a month ago and the type of pain was similar. I know at once on the 2nd occasion it was angina pain.
I was looking for some information that would help me in the future when POSSIBLY I had further pain.
