My wife has just been put on fliecenide for AF has anyone any comment on this particular drug ?

Yes, a lot of people with AF take these pills. For me they were like a miracle drug - the only one that worked! What dose is she on and does she take it alongside a beta blocker?

Hi Jean we do not know the dose yet the cardiologist is contacting our clinic and yes she also takes Bisoprolol and Apixaban thank you for your reply anything that help with her anxiety is good and so glad it works for you .

Flecainide has been a game changer for me for the better. After taking it twice a day for a couple of years my cardiologist switched me to taking it as Pill in the Pocket so i take it when i recognise the symptoms of afib or svt so don't have to take it daily. Either way its been a first rate good drug for me.

I hope she takes a beta blocker though as its not recommended to take flecainide as a mono therapy. May be different if she can't take beta blockers but your cardiologist should be on top of this if it was to be an issue. Good luck i hope it works for her,

Thanks for your reply yes she has been on quite a list of medication for years including Bisoprolol so let's hope this one does the trick once again thanks for your reply hope you stay well.

I am on Verapamil TDS for AF. Sort of working but OMG the constipation 🤣
