Breathing and fatigue has got worse over last couple of weeks

Hello

I don’t post often, however doing so now. I have heart failure, permanent AF, leaky valves

I had an ASD closure about 8 weeks ago which was to stop my enlarged heart getting worse. I have been managing well. A couple of weeks ago my breathing has got pretty bad and energy levels very low. Spoke to my HF nurse and she has increased the water tabs but not done very much. Why or what have I done to make me feel this bad!

I have been thinking, diet the same, I think my stress levels have increased due to work pressure and stress but can’t think of anything else

I want to go back to feeling I can manage this and no go downhill

Has anyone else had this happen to them and how did they get back on track

I could walk with stops a reasonable distance now hardly without feeling overwhelmed by feeling awful

I think that you need more professional help. If increasing the diuretics haven’t helped then clearly your breathing problems are due to some other factor which should be investigated. Maybe try and consult with your GP if you can’t contact your cardiologist. Good luck.
