I popped out for my first jog yesterday after getting the all clear from my surgeon. It was slow, don't get me wrong, but I managed 3k just 56 days post op I really only planned to go round the block! I'm absolutely buzzing! We're all capable of great things, believe in yourselves ♥️

It took me nearly 3 months before I started jogging. Now just over a year after stemi and a couple of stents I can comfortably do 10k. I did however start very gently in pace and distance and used my Garmin to keep a close eye on my heart rate for the first month.

Good luck with a gradual build up and if we have another hot spell run when it's cooler.

10k! That's brilliant! I couldn't have done that even pre-op but maybe one day, thanks for your encouragement and advice 🙂
