Issue with beta blockers

Hello everybody,

I had a HA April 29th and had 2 stents installed a day later. I am currently on ticagrelor 90 mg twice a day, atorvastatin 40 mg once a day, aspirin once a day and carvedilol 3.125 mg twice a day. I had originally started on metoprolol 12.5 mg twice a day.

The problem I am having is that whenever I exercise my blood pressure goes dangerously high, so I have to stop exercising but here's the thing, I had a nuclear stress test done and stopped the beta blocker before the test and I was able to exercise normally just like before the HA. Hit target heart rate of 155 BPM and blood pressure was 148/87. When I am on either one of the beta blockers and exercise my blood pressure will go as high as 220/110, even though I am barely exercising at all.

Has anyone else experienced this?

For those of you on beta blockers, how is your heart rate and BP during exercise?
