We finally made Braunston, but it was a real pain today. There is no Sunday service on the buses and we couldn't get a cab until after 11.00, so we rejoined the canal a little further along as we knew we would get the same problem at Braunston. We ended up having to walk over 5 miles along the A45 to get to the Travelodge at Rugby Dunchurch. We both felt a bit demoralised for some reason, but tomorrow sees us to Leamington spa and Tuesday will see us in Solihull. Hopefully we can get public transport back to the canal in the morning, or its a long walk along the A45 again...
