Recent blood test revealed heightened enzymes in muscle. I have been told to stop rosuvastatin. In one week must take another blood test to see if levels have changed. Dr stipulated that I will not be put on statins again it would be to risky?

Any advice please , feeling a bit worried. Have had uncontrollable diarrhoea since nov2020.

Despite telling anyone and everyone about this and muscle cramps I’ve only just been listened too.

Well done. Nobody listened to me either. Terrible cramps and as I had my bowel removed some years ago I only have diarrhoea anyway- might have been less without the statins until I felt so unwell I checked with GP to lower them, I was told I could stop them altogether. So l did. No more cramps. Enzymes, I don't know. Had Metformin poisoning too.

Oh dear you poor thing. I can imagine how ill you felt. Hoping all is well now. I’m hoping that things will get sorted now for me too. NHS has gone completely mad. For the first time in my life I’ve felt fearful over health issues. I hope it gets resolved very soon.

Good health to you xx
