You need to request an echocardiogram to identify what’s causing the enlarged heart. Do you have any other symptoms?

Thank you other symptoms are breathless palpitations and so tired I can fall asleep an hour after I get up some days

Hi my enlarged heart was caused by cardiomyopathy, it was confirmed by an echo scan and mri scan, which were arranged by the hospital, more tests would be able to confirm the cause, and what treatment if any is required, your gp would be able to arrange them, I hope you get some answers, if you have any chest pains I would definitely head to the hospital immediately, char

You definitely need to pursue this. It may be that you need a valve replacement
