New & Newly Diagnosed: Bigeminy & BPM Question

I'm a 69 year old female and was diagnosed yesterday with Bigeminy after having SOB/heart palpitations for a week. I'm in otherwise good health and my blood work was all normal. I'm worried and have no idea how to manage this condition or what it means to my quality of life, longevity, etc. The ER doc told me this may go away on its own or I may need a beta blocker. Made an appointment with a cardiologist as a next step. If you can offer some info and advice I'd be so appreciative.

I have a question about BPM. I have an Apple watch that tracks BPM and my overall BPM is 72, but there is a wide range at different times of the day. Should I be looking at the low and high BPM readings or the overall one? Thanks
