You need to speak to your GP. What symptoms do you get when you use the spray? There is a tablet alternative that is placed under the tongue but using that would depend on what it is about the spray you are allergic to.

GTN takes some getting used to.The 'nitrate head' is common.

A headache, feeling sick and dizzy are very common side effects which do wear off over time.

Why do you feel you are allergic to GTN?

Allergy to GTN is extremely rare and involves swelling of the tongue. Side effects such as a nasty headaches are quite common and are thought to be caused by dilation of blood vessels in the frontal lobes of the brain. I’d be getting this checked out with the doctor ASAP.
