I’m so scared ive caused lasting damage to my heart through constant anxiety and palpitations, I’m on bisoprolol and my heart is still managing to race, waiting on 24 hour ecg results will this have picked it up. I can’t stop the panicking scared I’m going to just drop dead

What do your palpitations feel like as it could be ectopics x

Hi I was the same svt ever cpl if weeks having to go to hospital and given adenosine. I was on 1 1.25mg tablet at night. I felt so anxious constantly and bp was high. I spoke with my cardiologist and he mentioned ablation but we decided to increase bisoprolol dose. He said to take an extra one but because it makes me really tired for the first few days I increased it by half a tablet with the aim of increasing the other half of tablet whilst I was off work I have found that just by increasing half a tablet my BP. Has come down to a normal level and I'm not feeling so anxious and worked up inside and now I have settled on the 1 tablet at night and half in the morning I have not been to hospital since September. My fingers are crossed that this is working for me x before the extra half tablet I had ectopic too and they have also stopped since taking it. Apparently the ectopic can set off svt. I'm thinking it's all maybe related. BP etc
