Working with regurgitating aorta

Hi

I am seventy one I want to know if is safe to do fairly light work (carpentry) with aorta regurgitation.I don’t need to work financially but I do need to get out of my house as my daughter works from home and need relatively quietness.I am fit for my age and would be safely isolating.I have had scans etc. and am waiting to see whether I need surgery.

I don’t get any pain as such just breathless and tightness when walking uphill

Thank you

Hi, the "official answer" is to ask your GP/consultant. My answer (a random internet stranger)is to do what you feel capable and comfortable with. Just take it easy and listen to your body, lots of rest. HTH
