Medication v Pace & Ablate

Can anyone help with advice/ personal experience. I'm now in permanent AF and at the moment my EP is trying me on different combinations of medications to see if it can be managed like that. The other option would be to Pace & Ablate. Does anyone have any thoughts and or experience on either of these please.
