Ectopics and tingling

I have ectopics which drive me mad but I’ve started getting tingling in my feet and my hands feel weak and shaky but they are not shaking ( if that makes sense ) I did have cramp in my left foot before this all started. My doctor is sending me for a CT head scan and is going to do a blood test. Any advise please

Could I just, as I don't know anything much about ectopic beats - how irregular are they? I have had so far un-diagnosed tingling in my arms and lower legs as times, and also have noticed that for some reason my heart misses every 6th beat. Doctor has said it is fairly common and nothing to worry about, however sometimes it messes up blood pressure machines. The tingling comes and goes and your post made me wonder if the two are linked, as so does this missing beat.

Hi The ectopics started the beginning of the year and they lasted for a few hrs for 2 or 3 days ( missing every 3rd beat ) They would go away for a week or 2 then come back the same. They are now not lasting as long but I always do deep breathing every night which I think is helping. The tingling started in my left foot in Sept & over last couple of mths moved to my hands & right foot. GP didn’t think it was related to my irregular heartbeat but not seen my cardiologist as yet. If I get any info I’ll post it on here. All the best

Mmmm. I have had the tingling ever since the stents were fitted, but it comes and goes, used to be worse after exercise. At first GP thought it was the bisoprolol I was on, but I have been off that ages now and still get it now and again, he reckons it's nothing to do with my heart, but I never had it before! I have hot had it for a while now, but next time I am going to check if the irregular beats are back, they come and go. I am only on Atorvastatin, Aspirin and Omeprazole but I know for a fact it is not any of them.

Thanks for your reply. I have been worried as my ectopics started in January and this tingling started in September. You are right though it does come and go & sometime only in my feet. Like everyone I would love to feel normal ( whatever that is )

I ve been getting tingling in my lower legs and feet during my atenolol withdrawal . Could it be any drugs you may be on causing it ?

Not sure It could be my thyroxine dose which has been altered. I’ll wait and see what the results of the scan are ( fingers very tightly crossed) Thank you
