Hi I’m new here looking for advice or any general information. Three years ago I was diagnosed with an abnormal Right Connery artery with a malignant course it starts on the left side runs between the two main pump in chambers so part of the artery is flattened but no blockage I was experiencing and still am chest pain shortness of breath dizziness I was referred and the surgeon recommended a Connery artery bypass graft as you can imagine was very frightening to hear this as this condition carries a very high risk of sudden cardiac death most people that are born with the condition die prematurely he said the fact that I’ve got over 30 with no problems was a reassuring sign so I decided to go ahead with the surgery but then cancelled three times now three years old I’m having more cardiac events seeing my GP been re-referred to cardiologist for further investigation which should’ve been urgent and three weeks on still haven’t seen the cardiologist in the meantime I suffer with severe anxiety and panic attacks and as you can imagine this creates terrible fear I do not want to do anything because I’m afraid of something terrible happening whether it be heart-attack or sudden cardiac arrest I’m now missing work which I’ve been warned I could potentially lose my job which is creating more stress I just really don’t know what to do all the information on the map suggests that cardiac death Is very high and this needs to be treated as an emergency although my cardiologist at the time and my surgeon didn’t feel that it was an emergency more of an elective procedure to relieve symptoms and hopefully the fear of sudden cardiac death so I’m just looking for advice or anyone that’s got the same to all problems to help me with this

Difficult Did you cancel 3 times ?? or was you cancelled three times ? The only reassurance is that you haven't had any serious events since diagnosis. Speak with GP again to try to speed things up, explain your mental health dilemma and you are worried.

I have lived with a 100 % blocked RCA for quite a few years now, and I have managed OK

Best Wishes
